Dacor Appliance Repair in San Francisco

Same-day service from San Francisco to San Jose. Upfront pricing and a 90-day warranty on parts and labor.

Dacor started in Southern California in 1965 and has been part of Samsung since 2016. It makes wall ovens, ranges, gas and induction cooktops and built-in refrigeration for high-end kitchens. Bay Area homes have plenty of them, from older Dacor wall ovens on the Peninsula to newer Samsung-era column refrigerators.

  • Burner igniter keeps clicking. An igniter that keeps sparking after the burner lights, or won’t light it at all, is usually the igniter itself, moisture in the burner or a stuck switch behind the knob.
  • Oven won’t heat or won’t self-clean. A failed bake or broil element, a bad temperature sensor, or a control board that isn’t firing the right relay. Self-clean draws more power and is often the first thing to expose a weak element.
  • Induction cooktop won’t power on or trips. Usually the induction power module or a connection at the control board. Induction units run high voltage internally, so this isn’t a do-it-yourself fix.
  • Control panel unresponsive. A failed touch panel or control board; on older units, moisture or a spill behind the panel is a common cause.

Dacor refrigeration

Dacor’s built-in and column refrigerators run warm for the same reasons other built-ins do: a dusty condenser, a failed fan, a defrost fault or a door gasket that no longer seals. Newer models share many electronics with Samsung, which helps with parts.

What we check

The technician checks the igniters and gas valve, elements and sensors, the control board, door hinges and seals, and reads any stored error codes.
